ZLP2 – Laser Projector
Key Features & Technical Details at a Glance
The ZLP2 is a powerful laser projector equipped with a fiber-coupled Z-FIBER laser source to deliver outstanding beam quality. With an accuracy of 0.25 mm per meter of working distance, it is ideal for precise projections in traditional applications such as woodworking and stone processing, as well as demanding composite material tasks. Operation is simple via the intuitive ZLP-Suite software with graphical user interface or through the integrated programming interface (API). In addition, native control via TCP/IP-enabled PLC systems is supported, allowing seamless integration into automated workflows. The ZLP2 thus provides a flexible, expandable, and reliable solution for industrial applications where precision and efficiency are critical.

Frequently Asked Questions
The ZLP2 is a high-performance laser projector with a fiber-coupled Z-FIBER laser source for excellent beam performance. It achieves a projection accuracy of 0.1 mm per meter of working distance, with a recommended working distance of 0.5 to 7 m. An aperture angle of up to 80° times 80° allows coverage of large working areas of up to 10 times 10 m. The ZLP2 is eye-safe according to laser class 2M (EN 60825) and meets IP65 protection rating.
The ZLP2 is the right choice for applications with medium projection distances. The ZLP2-HighPower is the better option when projection distances of up to 20 m, large mounting heights, or particularly challenging lighting conditions require higher brightness and beam power.
The ZLP2 is designed for demanding industrial applications where efficiency and precision are required. It is used, among other things, in wood and stone processing and, across industries, in composite manufacturing, for example in shipbuilding or the automotive industry.
The ZLP2 can be controlled via the intuitive ZLP-Suite software with a graphical user interface. Via the integrated API (C++, C#, Rust, Python), it can also be integrated into existing customer applications. In addition, native control via TCP/IP-capable PLC systems enables integration into automated production lines. For integration into CAD/CAM environments, the ZLP2 supports common file formats such as DXF, HPGL, IGES, and STEP.
Yes. The ZLP2 can be combined and operated in sync within multi-projection systems. Up to 16 laser projectors can be networked, allowing the projection area to be flexibly adapted to individual production requirements.
