JEC World is widely regarded as the leading international trade show for composites, bringing together key players from across the industry in Paris. From March 10–12, Z-LASER was on site, showcasing laser projection solutions designed to enable precision and efficiency in composites manufacturing. The focus of our presence was the ZLP2-HighPower, our advanced laser projector engineered for the most demanding conditions.
Laser projection for precise and efficient processes in composites manufacturing
JEC World 2026 at Paris Nord Villepinte is behind us, and we look back on three intensive days filled with valuable conversations and great discussions.
At our booth, we welcomed numerous visitors and demonstrated how our laser projectors support repeatable and efficient processes in composites manufacturing.
We also demonstrated typical applications for the manual layup of composite layers into a mold of an an aircraft wing and a wind turbine rotor. The demonstration of our ZLP Suite software also generated considerable interest.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth and contributed to the many valuable conversations throughout the show.
We are already looking forward to returning to JEC World next year.
The following video offers impressions of our presence at JEC World 2026.
ZLP2-HighPower: Laser projection for maximum precision in demanding environments
At the center of our trade show presence was the ZLP2-HighPower, our high-performance laser projector designed for the most demanding industrial applications. With its enhanced laser source, redesigned mechanics, and optimized electronics, the ZLP2-HighPower delivers outstanding brightness, precision, and durability. It enables accurate and reliable visualization of geometric data, even under challenging environmental conditions or across large projection areas.
ZLP2 – HighPower
The ZLP2 HighPower sets a new standard for laser projection in the most demanding environments. With an enhanced laser source, upgraded mechanics, and optimized electronics, it delivers superior brightness, precision, and durability—even in challenging light conditions or across large projection distances. Achieving an accuracy better than ±0.25 mm/m, it supports working areas up to 10 × 10 m and projection distances of up to 15 m. Typical applications include concrete construction, aerospace, and wind turbine blade manufacturing, where it can improve process efficiency by up to 30%. Its modular design allows key components to be replaced in the field in under an hour, minimizing downtime, while standardized interfaces and an intuitive API ensure seamless integration into existing systems.
Learn MoreIn composites manufacturing, such as the production of wind turbine rotor blades or aerospace components, the ZLP2-HighPower supports precise material positioning during manual layup. This helps reduce errors, standardize processes, and significantly improve overall efficiency.
